Yuba County Sheriff NET-5 Team Confiscates Narcotics, Cash During Search Warrants

On October 4, 2023, deputies with the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Yuba-Sutter Narcotic and Gang Task Force (NET-5) in executing a search warrant at 1893 Chapman Avenue in Olivehurst. As a result, 73-year-old Ralph Blankenship was arrested on several drug charges and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Authorities seized over 3,200 counterfeit Oxycodone pills containing Fentanyl, 334 grams of methamphetamine, drug packing materials, ten firearms, over 680 rounds of ammunition, and other paraphernalia.
On November 6, 2023, deputies with the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Yuba-Sutter Narcotic and Gang Task Force (NET-5) in executing a search warrant at 5260 Feather River Boulevard in Olivehurst. As a result, 50-year-old John West Jr. was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale with authorities seizing over 177 grams of methamphetamine, a digital scale, and over $8,800 in cash.
The collaboration between NET-5 and the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department exemplifies the ongoing commitment of local law enforcement to proactively address illicit drug activities in our communities.
