Solano County Assault Suspect Allegedly Caught with Unregistered Gun

On November 14, 2023, an adult female flagged down officers near Alabama Street and Sacramento Street. The woman informed our officers that her female friend had attacked her following a disagreement. Additionally, the victim reported her “friend” was in possession of a firearm, and the assailant was currently following her while driving a red Honda Civic.
As the woman spoke with our officers, the suspect vehicle drove past them, and she confirmed that the person inside was the armed assailant who had attacked her.
Our officers executed a felony stop on the Honda, detaining the suspect. A protective search of the car led to the discovery of an unregistered firearm beneath the front passenger seat.
After being Mirandized, the suspect admitted to assaulting the victim but claimed ignorance about the presence of a firearm in her vehicle. The female suspect was subsequently arrested and transported to the county jail. The firearm was seized and entered into evidence.
