Man Arrested in Connection with Fatal Stabbing in Fresno

The Fresno Police Department has announced the arrest of a primary suspect in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Mohamed Abdillahi.
According to a press release by the department, officers were dispatched to North Blackstone Avenue in response to a report of a stabbing victim on the night of Friday, November 17. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mohamed Abdillahi behind the T-Mobile store on Abby Street, suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Abdillahi was transported to St. Agnes Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical professionals shortly after his arrival.
Detectives identified Scott Lawson, 30, as the primary suspect in the stabbing. On Friday, November 24, Scott Lawson turned himself in to law enforcement. He was booked into the Fresno County jail on suspicion of murder.
