“On 11/04/2023 at about 1248 hours, Corning PD Officers with the assistance from a TCSO Deputy responded to the Skate Park parking lot for a report of male subject associated with a red SUV brandishing a firearm.

Corning PD Officers and TCSO Deputy arrived shortly after and contacted three male subjects associated with the reported red SUV. The subjects were identified as Juan Guevara Carlos, 19 of Corning, Adolfo Rodriguezesquivel, 21 of Orland, and a male juvenile, 15 of Red Bluff.

During the investigation, Corning PD Officers located a concealed, loaded 9mm caliber, undetectable Glock style firearm (“Ghost” gun) inside the vehicle. Corning PD Officers arrested Carlos and Rodriguezesquivel on numerous felony gun charges. In addition, Rodriguezesquivel was arrested for violating his court order stipulations.

Carlos and Rodriguezesquivel were booked into the Tehama County Jail and both were released with a promise to appear.

The Corning Police Department is conducting a further investigation regarding the matter and the investigation is ongoing.”
