Three Suspects Arrested in Downtown Riverside Shooting

“RIVERSIDE, CA – On Saturday, November 25, 2023 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Riverside Police Officers responded to reports of a shooting that just occurred in downtown Riverside along the 3400 block of 6th Street. When they arrived, officers located evidence from the shooting but the people involved already fled and no one had been struck. Their initial investigation determined an altercation between three people over an apparent road rage and gunfire was exchanged.
Robbery-Homicide Unit Detectives were assigned the investigation and immediately began collaborating with the METRO Team and Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) Team. The three shooting suspects were identified as 21-year-old Jahiden Person of Riverside, 21-year-old Samiyah Moore of Riverside, and 41-year-old Jeffrey Robinson of Riverside.
On Wednesday and Thursday this week, search warrants were executed and all three suspects were arrested. Jahiden Person and Samiyah Moore were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy. Samiyah was also charged with brandishing a firearm, and Jahiden was additionally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, as well for a recent armed robbery that occurred on November 7th at the AutoZone Auto Parts store, located in the 1900 block of University Avenue in Riverside.
Jeffrey Robinson was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
This investigation is still ongoing and there are no other details to release at this time.
