Fentanyl Dealer in Relation to Fatal Overdose of Folsom Teenager

“On December 6, 2023 at approximately 6 p.m., Folsom police officers and fire personnel responded to the report of a suspected Fentanyl overdose in the 100 block of Witmer Drive. Despite lifesaving efforts, including the administration of Naloxone (Narcan), the 19-year-old female was pronounced dead.
Detectives with the Folsom Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) responded to take over the investigation. Detectives worked around the clock to identify the individual responsible for providing the fatal dose of Fentanyl to the deceased. Through their investigation, SIU Detectives identified Dante Robinson, 20, of Carmichael. Detectives took Robinson into custody on December 8, 2023 at his residence on the 4800 Block of El Camino Avenue.
Robinson was transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail where he was booked for homicide and the possession of a controlled substance for sale. The Sacramento County District Attorney filed charges against Robinson and he was arraigned on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Robinson is currently being held without bail.
