“On December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:10pm, ACSO Deputies responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, Deputies learned that the female suspect was followed by Walmart customers to the parking lot after leaving the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise. As the female suspect was attempting to flee the parking lot in her vehicle, she reversed her vehicle and nearly struck the group of customers. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle was located by an ACSO Sergeant in the area of Highway 88 and the San Joaquin County Line and a traffic stop was attempted. The female suspect refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, the female suspect drove her vehicle with obvious disregard for public safety, putting other drivers at risk and the ACSO Sergeant made the decision to terminate the pursuit.
Through follow-up investigation and information provided by witnesses, Deputies identified the female suspect as 44-year old Natasha Guerrero of Stockton. On December 13, 2023, Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Guerrero and notified the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. Shortly after 5:00pm, SJSO Deputies located and arrested Guerrero in Stockton.
Guerrero was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail, where she is awaiting extradition to Amador County to face charges of shoplifting, assault with a deadly weapon and evading a peace officer.”
