“On 1/7/24 around 10:00 p.m., Folsom Police officers were dispatched to the area of Broadstone Pkwy/ E. Bidwell St for a suspicious vehicle that was called in by a citizen in the area. During the course of the investigation, a search of the vehicle was performed. Officers located a “ghost gun” and fentanyl. A “ghost gun” is a homemade gun that does not have a serial number and can be difficult to trace.
The driver, Mark Cole, a 37 year old from Sacramento, was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for various firearm and narcotic charges.
This is the second ghost gun seized in the City of Folsom in less than a week.”
