Moreno Valley, CA – On January 9, 2024, at approximately 3:34 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to a parking lot in the 26600 block of Dracaea Avenue following a reported robbery.
According to the investigation, a male victim was approached by an adult male suspect in the parking lot. The suspect allegedly threatened the victim, brandished a firearm, and demanded the victim’s jewelry before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Notably, the victim managed to obtain the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle as it sped away.
Law enforcement swiftly conducted an area check, which led them to the discovery of the suspect’s vehicle in the 13600 block of Stockbrook Road. The suspect, identified as 18-year-old Angel Solis, a resident of Moreno Valley, was apprehended nearby. Authorities confirmed that Solis was in possession of the victim’s stolen property.
Angel Solis was subsequently arrested and is currently facing charges including robbery, possession of a concealed weapon in a vehicle, possession of a loaded firearm, and possession of an unregistered firearm. He is being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center with bail set at $30,000.
