Stabbing Incident at Chevron Gas Station in Banning Under Investigation

Incident: Assault with a Deadly Weapon
On Sunday, January 7, 2024, at approximately 12:44 am, Banning Police Officers responded to 827 W. Ramsey Street (Chevron), in the City of Banning, County of Riverside regarding
multiple subjects fighting. Prior to officers arriving, the subjects who were involved in the fight had fled the scene. Witnesses told officers that one of the subjects who was involved in the fight had possibly been stabbed.
At approximately 1:00 am, Banning Police Dispatch received a telephone call from a local hospital, advising they had two victims arrive in the emergency room, who had both suffered from stab wounds. Upon officers arrival to the hospital, officers were advised by the victims that they were both stabbed at the Chevron Gas Station in the City of Banning located at 827 W. Ramsey Street.
Neither of the victims had life threating injures and were both listed in stable condition. This is an active and ongoing investigation, and no other information can be released at this time.
