Registered Sex Offender arrested for Trespassing at Middle School

“Last night Deputies were sent to Berrendos Middle School in Red Bluff for a sounding alarm.
A Deputy arrived on scene within minutes and began to search the school grounds. The Deputy found Christopher Kentopp, age 34, of Red Bluff exiting a building at the school. Christopher is a registered sex offender and on felony probation for robbery.
He was found to have property on him that was stolen from inside of the school. He also had a concealed fixed blade knife. Christopher admitted to making entry to the school and stealing the items.
He was arrested and booked into the Tehama County Jail. TCSO is requesting charges for burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a dirk/dagger, violation of probation, and being a sex registrant on school grounds.”
