Three Arrested, Fourth Sought in Connection with Recent Armed Robberies in Tulare County
Three individuals have reportedly been arrested in connection with three armed robberies involving stolen vehicles in Tulare County. A fourth suspect is still sought.
On January 31, members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office detectives and SWAT personnel executed multiple residential search warrants in Delano, resulting in the arrest of three adults and one 16-year-old juvenile.
The arrests were made in connection with three separate armed robberies that occurred at two Big B’s gas stations, located along Highway 99 in southern Tulare County. These robberies took place on December 23, 2023, December 30, 2023, and January 22, 2024, respectively.
The individuals taken into custody in connection with the robberies are identified as 20-year-old Ricardo Ramirez, 20-year-old Jorden Lawson, and 19-year-old Ezequiel Lopez. A fourth individual, 19-year-old Santos Carranza, remains at large.
Detectives have reportedly determined that all three robberies involved stolen vehicles, which were then set on fire shortly after the crimes were committed. The Sheriff’s Office says that these vehicles played a pivotal role in leading detectives to this group, who have been identified as suspected Delano gang members.
During the execution of the search warrants at their residences, incriminating evidence linking them to the armed robberies was discovered, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Ramirez, Lawson, and Lopez are all reportedly face charges of armed robbery, auto theft, arson, and gang enhancements.
