Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing 76 Year Old

LOCATION: 7600 block of Haven Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Deborah Esteen-Jordan, 35-year-old female from Rancho Cucamonga
VICTIM(S): 76-year-old female from Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY: On Sunday, January 28, at about 6:20 p.m., deputies responded to the 7600 block of Haven Avenue in reference to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, deputies learned the victim had been stabbed multiple times. Deputies performed preliminary lifesaving measures until emergency medical services arrived on scene. The victim was transported in stable but critical condition to a regional trauma center and is expected to survive.
Through investigation, deputies learned a cohabitant, Esteen-Jordan, stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife. Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff Station responded and assumed the investigation. Esteen-Jordan was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for attempted murder.
