Merced Police Seek Leads in Fatal Shooting Investigation

“Merced- On 2/7/24 at 0506 hours Officers responded to a report of several shots heard in the area of Denver Way and Frankfort Ct. Upon arrival they were directed to a residence where an unresponsive male was suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim died on scene.
Officers learned quickly of another male victim who fled to a nearby house and was suffering from gunshot wounds. He was located and is being treated at a nearby hospital. As of now no motive has been established. Merced Police Department Detectives are Investigating.
