“Last week, a K9 Handler, K9 Jack, and a North Patrol Deputy contacted a subject during a vehicle stop. Upon contact, Deputies observed a firearm and detained the subject without incident. A search of the subject’s person and vehicle incident to arrest revealed almost $800 in petty cash, approximately 120 fentanyl pills, along with methamphetamine, cocaine, and a scale.
The suspect, John Ybarbo, had previously been convicted of felony charges and was prohibited from possessing a firearm. Ybarbo was booked into custody at the Main Jail for several narcotic sales and firearm violations. Ybardo posted a $50,000 bond seven hours after booking and has since been released.”
