“Roseville PD Officers responded to burglaries of several businesses between January 13 and February 1, 2024. Surveillance video was obtained from each business, and our RTCC (Real-Time Crime Center) was able to identify a vehicle and license plate. The five cases were confirmed to have been committed by the same suspect.

The suspect was arrested in South Sacramento on February 1 while checking in with his probation officer. He was on two different counts of probation, one being mandatory supervision, for burglary out of Sacramento County for similar burglaries. He was arrested by Elk Grove PD in December 2023 for burglary and was out on his recognizance when he committed the ones in Roseville.

A probation search of the suspect’s primary living area resulted in Officers locating the clothing, tools, shoes and stolen property from the burglaries. He was booked on multiple counts of burglary, vandalism, committing a felony while out on own recognizance for a felony and possession of burglary tools.

This further serves as an example of how RPD continues to take care of our residents and protect our businesses.”
