Caught in the Act: Orcutt Man Arrested with Stolen Goods and Narcotics

“Over the weekend, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 blk of W. Grand for the report of a suspicious male stumbling around the area and going behind homes. Officers responded and made contact with a male adult. The person was determined to be on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for burglary.

In compliance with the terms related to the PRCS, his belongings were searched and items that had been reported as stolen to neighboring agency, were recovered. The individual was also in possession of a controlled substance. Wade Batchelor, 35, of Orcutt, was arrested and transported to county jail for possession of narcotics and possession of stolen property.”
