“Gang Suppression Unit (GSU) Detectives conducted an investigation into Francisco Santiago II for weapons violations, including possession of machine guns, assault weapons, silencers, and explosives.

The investigation culminated in a search warrant for Santiago and his residence in Elk Grove. The search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Special Enforcement Detail (SED) and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) teams.

A search of the residence yielded 94 firearms, including several that qualified as assault weapons, 50 caliber rifles, a sawed-off shotgun, a 40mm launcher, machine guns, silencers, five live grenades, several partially assembled grenades, pipe bombs, and additional bomb-making materials.

Santiago was booked into the Main Jail for various weapons violations and possession of explosives. GSU Detectives obtained a two million dollar bail for Santiago, and he remains in jail.”
