San Jose Police have reportedly arrested two suspects, one of whom is a juvenile, in connection to three recent shootings.
According to a press release by the police department, officers responded to a report of a shooting on Lotus Street on Appian Lane on the afternoon of February 11. At the location, officers discovered two adult male victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. Both were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Later, a third shooting victim transported themselves to another area hospital.
On February 12, the San Jose PD’s Gang Investigations Unit, as well as Assaults Unit detectives, identified David Cisneros, 18, and a juvenile whose identity is being withheld as the primary suspects in the shootings. Both were ultimately arrested on suspicion of attempted homicide.
Investigators then obtained search warrants for both suspects’ homes, recovering a loaded 3D-printed handgun from the juvenile’s residence.
Cisneros was booked at the Santa Clara County main jail, while the juvenile suspect was booked at the juvenile hall. Investigators are reportedly investigating these shootings as gang-related.
