Hesperia Man Arrested on Possession of Child Pornography Charges

In a coordinated effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies, a 49-year-old resident of Hesperia, Donal Seaver, has been apprehended and charged with the possession of child pornography, as per California Penal Code 311.11(a). The arrest was made following an investigation conducted jointly by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Hesperia Station.

Authorities commenced their inquiry on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, focusing on the possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Through diligent investigative work, Donal Seaver emerged as the primary suspect. Subsequently, law enforcement officials proceeded with Seaver’s arrest and subsequent booking at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto. Bail has been set at $30,000.

Detectives assigned to the case have expressed concerns regarding the possibility of additional victims.
