18-Year-Old Gang Member Arrested for Attempted Homicide in Santa Cruz
“An investigation led by our Detectives concluded this morning with the arrest of an 18-year-old attempted homicide suspect.
Detectives also served multiple search warrants linked to this case and the suspect, Antwan Magana.
On February 10, WPD Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 100 block of Riverside Drive shortly before 5 PM. Once on scene, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be okay.
Magana, a known and active gang member, was transported to the Santa Cruz County Jail on charges of attempted homicide and gang enhancements.”
