Sacramento, CA – In a recent incident, Central Division Patrol Deputies in Sacramento observed a vehicle reported stolen from the city of Citrus Heights on a public roadway. The subsequent attempt to conduct a high-risk vehicle stop resulted in the vehicle fleeing at a high rate of speed, initiating a pursuit.
The pursuit concluded when the driver of the stolen vehicle crashed into an unoccupied parked vehicle. The driver, later identified as Thomas Lish, then attempted to flee on foot. Deputies successfully apprehended Lish, who was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun concealed in his waistband.
Following his apprehension, Thomas Lish was transported and booked into custody at the Sacramento County Main Jail. His bail has been set at $50,000.
