“Citrus Heights Police announce the arrest of 31-year-old Brian Keating following the investigation into three robberies of Citrus Heights businesses today while armed with a replica firearm. Keating was booked this afternoon into the Sacramento County main jail on three felony charges of robbery (211 PC) and a Post-Release-Community-Supervision (PRCS) violation.
This morning, between 8:00-11:30am, CHPD was notified by three separate businesses, that they had just been robbed at gunpoint by an adult male suspect. Each of the separate business employees and witnesses provided a similar suspect description alerting police that this suspect was desperate for cash and willing to put himself and the entire community at risk.
Officers utilized various technologies and by 1:30pm the suspect was identified, located and arrested. The Citrus Heights Police Department is extremely appreciative of the men and women who assisted with this criminal apprehension and are grateful that nobody in the community was physically injured by his actions.”
