“Yesterday around 4pm, our officers were alerted to a theft that had occurred at the Lululemon store on First Street.
One of our officers located the vehicle and attempted an enforcement stop. The vehicle did not yield and a pursuit ensued.
With the assistance of the American Canyon Police Department, we pursued the vehicle until near the Carquinez Bridge where it was relinquished to the California Highway Patrol air and ground units. The pursuit eventually ended and 4 suspects were taken into custody by CHP with assistance of Oakland PD.
The suspects, 3 juveniles and 1 adult, were eventually booked. Early reports estimated the value of the stolen goods at $2500 but after further investigation, over 200 pairs were stolen with an approximate value of $23,000+.”
