Domestic Disturbance Call Leads to Discovery of Illegal Weapons

A Yuba County man was recently arrested after he was allegedly caught in possession of illegal weapons and ammunition.

On the night of Friday, March 22, Yuba County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant at a home on the 1600 block of Sixth Avenue in Olivehurst in connection with a domestic disturbance call, the Sheriff’s Department said in a press release.

At the scene, deputies reportedly found illegal guns and ammunition.

Burt Floyd II, 20, was also taken into custody at the scene.

Floyd booked at the Yuba County jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats, violation of probation, and unspecified weapons charges.
