On Monday, April 8, 2024, authorities responded to a report of theft in the 25200 block of Redlands Blvd. in Loma Linda.
The victim, whose identity remains undisclosed, recounted an incident where the suspect, 31 year old Joel Conway-Hines, allegedly brandished a large, fixed-blade knife upon the victim’s entry into his hotel room. Under the threat of harm, the victim complied with Conway-Hines’ demands, allowing him entry.
Subsequently, 25 year old Caston Clough accompanied Conway-Hines into the room, while the third suspect, 32 year old Bailey Limbourne, remained stationed in a parked SUV. The perpetrators absconded with items valued at approximately $3,000 before vacating the premises.
Conway-Hines faces charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime, while Clough is charged with armed robbery, and Limbourne with conspiracy to commit a crime. They are presently detained in San Bernardino County jails, each on a $60,000 bail. A subsequent search warrant yielded recovery of stolen items.
