Merced County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Drive-By Shooting in Winton
“Last night, Deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Cypress Avenue and Paige Avenue in Winton for reports of a drive-by shooting. While Deputies were en route, the Merced Police Department located a vehicle in the area of Yosemite Avenue and M Street with two gunshot victims inside. One male and one female were transported to a local area hospital for gunshot wounds. Both victims are expected to make full recoveries.
