Arrest Made in 2023 Orosi Murder Case: Suspect in Custody

“Around 10:15 p.m. on 12/9/23, TCSO Deputies were called to the 12400 Block of Ave 413 in Orosi for a shooting victim.
When Deputies arrived on scene, they found the victim, Ruben Trevino, suffering from a gunshot wound. Trevino was taken to a local hospital where he died. Through their investigation, TCSO Homicide Detectives identified Alejandro Moreno as the murder suspect.
Around 11:30 a.m. on 5/14/24, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s CATTCH unit found Moreno hiding with family in Orosi and took him into custody without incident. Detectives also arrested his wife, Martha Miranda, for harboring a wanted suspect. Both suspects were booked into the Tulare County Jail.
