Lindsay Gas Station Shooting Now Classified as Homicide, Two Arrests Made

“Just after 11:30 a.m. on 5/10/24, TCSO Deputies were called to the TripCo Gas Station in the 20000 Block of Rd 232 in Lindsay for a shooting.

When Deputies arrived, they found 23-year-old Andrew Gonzalez suffering from a gunshot wound. Deputies rendered medical aid and Gonzalez was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
Through their investigation, TCSO Homicide Detectives identified 23-year-old David Vielma as the suspect. Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, with help from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Air Support, Vielma was tracked down and taken into custody just outside of Poplar.

Detectives also arrested 21-year-old Jasmin Valencia for accessory to murder.
