Yuba Sutter NET-5 Operation: Successful Drug Bust and Arrest

“On May 3, 2024, at approximately 0700 hours- Yuba Sutter Narcotic and Gang Enforcement Task Force (NET-5), with the assistance of Sutter County Sheriff’s Department, executed a search warrant on Timmy Lyle and his 2012 Ford Taurus in the area of Tudor Rd. and Bailey Rd in Sutter County.
During the execution of the search warrant, NET-5 Agents believed additional narcotics were concealed in a hidden compartment in the vehicle. NET-5 Agents sought assistance from Yuba County Sheriff’s Department narcotics detection canine, K9 Ghost. K9 Ghost subsequently alerted to the prescence of narcotics concealed inside the engine compartment of the vehicle. A total of 324.4 grams of powder fentanyl, 9.1 grams of methamphetamine, two digital scales, one suspected LSD tablet, packaging for the sales of narcotics, and drug paraphernalia was located in the vehicle.
Timmy Lyle was arrested for 11351 H&S (Possess a Controlled Substance for Sales), 11352 H&S (Transportation or Sale of a Controlled Substance), and 11364 (a) H&S (Possess Drug Paraphernalia).
Frank Grisso was arrested for 11351 H&S (Possess a Controlled Substance for Sales), 11352 H&S (Transportation or Sale of a Controlled Substance), 11378 (Possess Methamphetamine for Sales), and 11364 (a) H&S (Possess Drug Paraphernalia).
