Paso Robles Police Apprehend Suspects in Theft and Narcotic-Related Incident
Paso Robles Police Officers swiftly responded to a report of theft at Target on May 13, 2024, at approximately 1604 hours. The investigation revealed that Christopher Arreola, 28, and Brennan Visser, 42, both residents of Fresno, were involved in stealing items valued at around $2000 from the store. Arreola attempted to evade officers by fleeing the scene in a black Ford Focus, while Visser attempted to escape on foot.
In the pursuit of Arreola, he collided with another vehicle, prompting him to abandon his car and attempt to flee on foot. Officers apprehended him after a brief chase. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the collision. Subsequent search of Arreola’s vehicle yielded a small quantity of narcotics, burglary tools, and stolen property.
Arreola faces multiple charges including felony theft, possession of narcotics, warrants, possession of burglary tools, and DUI-drugs. Meanwhile, Visser was located in an adjacent parking lot with the assistance of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office and CHP – Coastal Division Air Operations. He was arrested without further incident and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
