Chico Hit-and-Run: CHP Requests Public Assistance to Locate Witnesses

“CHP Chico area is asking for the public’s assistance in locating any witnesses to a vehicle vs bicyclist crash that occurred on Saturday, May 11, 2024. On 5/11/2024, at approximately 2:44 pm, CHP received a call of a vehicle vs bicyclist crash that occurred on Skyway just south of (lower) Coutolenc Road.
Officers and other emergency personnel arrived on scene and located an unconscious male in the roadway, but no involved vehicles remained on scene. Although, at this time we have no description or direction of travel of the involved vehicle, CHP believes the vehicle may have collision damage to the right front end and may have been traveling westbound.
