“Yesterday one of our officers located a stolen vehicle parked near Fishermans Wharf that was associated with escaped CDCR prisoner James Xiong. Xiong was serving a prison sentence for robbery and vehicle theft when he fled from a conservation camp in Solano County.
MPD officers coordinated with CDCR and began searching for Xiong. Xiong was located walking back towards the vehicle and he was arrested by CDCR and MPD. A loaded handgun was found inside the stolen vehicle. Great teamwork!”
