Man Arrested After Pointing Shotgun at A Gas Station Worker
“At around 4:09pm, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol received reports that a male subject armed with a shotgun has entered the Chevron Gas Station located in Fresh Pond just east of Pollock Pines, Ca.
After entering the gas station, the subject pointed a loaded shotgun at one of the customers. All of the employees and customers were able to quickly and safely leave the store without being harmed. Law enforcement quickly arrived to the gas station and established contact with subject inside who eventually exited the store and surrendered peacefully to law enforcement.
The male subject, later identified as Robert Brewster, 69 years old of Fresh Pond, Ca. Mr. Brewster was arrested and booked into the El Dorado County Jail in Placerville. His charges are 245(a)(2) PC, 601(a)(1) PC, 25850(a) PC, 25850(c)(6) PC, 148(a)(1) PC.
