Stockton Police Arrest Primary Suspect in Logan Lane Homicide

May 28, 2024

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 4:57 a.m., Stockton Police responded to the area of the 4100 block of Logan Ln to conduct a welfare check on a report of a person down. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult female in her 20’s, suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives were notified and responded to the scene.

Arrest Update May 28, 2024

Detectives have continued to work on this case since the homicide occurred. Detectives authored an arrest warrant for Francisco Ramirez, 23, in connection to the homicide. On Thursday, May 23, 2024, Ramirez was contacted by Border Patrol officials and was arrested for his warrant. Today, Ramirez was transported and interviewed by SPD detectives. He was arrested and was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for homicide.

We want to thank the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force for their assistance with this arrest.

This remains an active investigation.”
