Roseville Police Apprehend Suspect in Domestic Violence Kidnapping Case
“In the early hours of the morning on Sunday, June 9th, Roseville Officers responded to a 911 call stating a female was screaming for help in the area of Main St. as she was being pulled into a black BMW.
Citizens attempted to help the female, but the vehicle sped off. An ID Card was located at the scene which later turned out to be the victims. Officers were able to speak with the female victim over the phone, but she denied anything had happened and just wanted to go to sleep. Officers went above and beyond to make sure she was indeed safe and drove to her residence located in Folsom to conduct a welfare check along with Folsom PD. There was no answer at the door after repeated attempts.
Later in the day, Folsom PD received a call from the female now stating she had been a victim of Domestic Violence and was forced into the vehicle the night before by the suspect (her boyfriend). Shortly after, officers located the vehicle at the Galleria mall and were able to identify the suspect and locate him inside the mall.
He was taken into custody without incident and was booked into Placer County Jail for Domestic Violence (273.5 PC) and Kidnapping (207PC). Thanks to relentless police work from Roseville PD Officers and the assistance of the Folsom Police Department!”
