“Robbery Suspects Arrested
Modesto, CA – June 13, 2024
Today, detectives from our Investigative Services Division successfully made arrests in connection with the armed robbery that took place on May 17th at Sam’s Food Mart. During the incident, the suspects held the clerk at gunpoint and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Fortunately, the clerk was not injured.
After a thorough investigation, detectives executed multiple search warrants today, leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Joseph Pena of Hughson and 29-year-old Dustin Taylor of Modesto. Both suspects have been charged with robbery. It is worth noting that Dustin Taylor was out on bail for a previous robbery in a nearby town at the time of his arrest.
