Sutter County Deputies Apprehend Suspects in Sikh Temple Burglary Attempt

Early this morning, Sutter County deputies responded to an attempted break-in at the Sikh Temple on Tierra Buena Road in Yuba City. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two individuals, identified as 19-year-old Tye Dickson from Rio Oso and a 15-year-old from Yuba City, dressed in all black attire with masks and gloves.

The suspects were apprehended at the scene without incident. It was determined through investigation that they were attempting to steal religious funds from the temple. Tye Dickson was subsequently booked into Sutter County Jail on charges including Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Burglary, and Possession of Burglary Tools, while the juvenile was cited and released to his guardian.
