Three Juveniles Detained After Gun Found During Vehicle Stop in Woodland
“**GUN ARREST**
Last night, at 8:17 PM, Patrol officers stopped a vehicle near Sixth Street and Lincoln Avenue in Woodland for a Vehicle Code violation. Three male juveniles were in the car.
While talking to the occupants, officers could see open alcohol containers inside the vehicle as well as a spent shell casing. During the investigation, officers found a loaded firearm in the waistband of a 16-year-old male. The male was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Juvenile Detention Facility. The charges were minor in possession of a handgun, carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle, and prohibited persons in possession of ammunition. The other two juveniles were released to guardians with notices to appear for minors in possession of alcohol. (RT)”
