Stockton Police Searching for Primary Suspect in Arson, Homicide Investigation
Stockton police are searching for a man identified as the primary suspect in an arson and murder investigation.
Officers responded in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 25, to the area of Visalia Court and Harbor Street to investigate a report of arson to a mobile home trailer, police said in a press release.
Stockton Fire personnel were already on scene, police said.
At the scene, officers reportedly discovered an adult female and two juveniles deceased inside the mobile home trailer. Homicide detectives responded to take over the investigation.
Detectives reportedly believe that the suspect set the trailer on fire while the victims were sleeping inside.
Police have identified the suspect as Jose Carmona, 59.
Carmona is reportedly also known by multiple aliases, such as Andres Vecerra Torres, Jose Avilla Cardona, Juan Alonzo, Juan Alonzo-Alemndares, Felipe Ramirez Leon, Roberto Giron-Giron, and Jose Carmona-Estrada.
