Man Wanted on Three Felony Warrants Arrested in Oroville

Authorities in Butte County recently arrested an individual wanted on multiple felony warrants.

On Monday, July 1, detectives with the Butte County Sheriff’s Office reportedly located Jeremiah Weed, 39, at a room at the Super 8 motel in Oroville.

Weed was wanted on three felony arrest warrants as well as alleged violation of his parole, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

At around 1:45 that afternoon, SWAT personnel responded to the motel in an effort to establish contact with Weed, who allegedly refused to exit the room.

After around three hours, Weed exited the hotel room and was taken into custody, the Sheriff’s Office said. He was alter booked at the Butte County jail.
