“Over the weekend, our dedicated night shift officers responded to a shoplifting incident from the 5100 block of Commons Drive. The suspects, a male and female, fled the scene. Thanks to the vigilance of our patrol Sergeant, the suspect vehicle was located just as it was leaving the shopping plaza. A traffic stop was conducted, leading to the arrest of both individuals.

The male suspect was on PRCS (Post Release Community Supervision) and had several warrants for his arrest. The female suspect also had several warrants for her arrest. Thousands of dollars in stolen beauty products were recovered. Charges for both include: Grand Theft, Organized Retail Theft, Possession of Stolen Property and Conspiracy.

Great work by our officers in keeping our community safe and holding offenders accountable!”
