Three Arrested for Alleged Burglary in Lemoore on 4th of July

Authorities in Kings County announced the arrests of three individuals in connection with a commercial burglary in Lemoore on the 4th of July.

According to the Kings County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 4, to Kwik Break on Grangeville Boulevard after an audible alarm indicated a possible break-in. Upon arrival, deputies reportedly found the front doors smashed and items such as cigarettes, liquor, and other tobacco products stolen.

A witness reported seeing a U-Haul box truck at the scene, with the driver heading north on SR41. A “Be On the Lookout” alert was issued to the California Highway Patrol and the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. About 30 minutes later, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office located a U-Haul truck near Cedar and Manning, east of SR41.

The truck’s three occupants tried to escape by driving into a construction site but were eventually detained, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies contacted the business’s emergency contact, who provided surveillance footage reportedly showing three individuals stealing merchandise and loading it into the U-Haul. This information was shared with Fresno County authorities, who identified the suspects by their clothing, size, and build.

Authorities identified the suspects as Raymond Dominic Vallin, Rigoberto Diaz, and Ulysses Josue Chavez, all from Fresno County. Deputies later found the stolen merchandise in the U-Haul, the Sheriff’s Office said.

All three suspects were arrested and booked at the Kings County jail on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary, vandalism, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools.
