Wrestling Coach Gets Sentenced To Over 19 Years For Sexual Assault on Trainees

ROSEVILLE, Calif. – On July 8, 2024, the Honorable Judge Horst sentenced Quincey Clark, age 51, to 19 years and four months in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for sexually assaulting two teenage girls in his home garage gym. Clark was also given lifelong 290 registration.
On April 25, a Placer County jury found defendant Quincey Clark, age 51, guilty of nineteen counts of lewd acts on a child, sexual battery by restraint, forced oral copulation and more.
This case relates to Clark repeatedly assaulting minor victims while training them in his home wrestling gym. Private wrestling lessons marketed by Clark quickly progressed into massages for two victims, then devolved into inappropriate massages for “over half” of some of the private sessions.
After an interview at the Placer County MDIC and Children’s Advocacy Center, it was discovered the assaults took place after considerable grooming by Clark presented as private training. Clark would massage the victims during training sessions under the guise of being “part of the private training” which ultimately escalated into multiple sexual assaults. Clark told his victims to not tell their parents so he could continue “training” them.
As a result of the City of Roseville, California Police Department investigation, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office filed multiple charges of lewd acts on a child, oral copulation and more.
This case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Daniele LaPointe of the office’s Sexual Assault Unit and supported by the office’s Victim Services Unit.
