Three people have reportedly been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Beverly Hills.
According to police, the robbery took place around 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, near Canon Drive and Charleville Avenue.
At least two suspects confronted a victim in his car, brandished handguns, and allegedly stole his Rolex watch, a ring, and an iPhone. The suspects then fled in a vehicle, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Responding officers relayed information to the Real-Time Watch Center, who identified the suspects’ vehicle and alerted detectives. Police soon located the suspect vehicle in Hawthorne.
Hawthorne police officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which reportedly led to a pursuit.
The suspects reportedly abandoned the vehicle near 74th and Hoover Streets and fled on foot from there.
One suspect was apprehended almost immediately, while another allegedly carjacked another vehicle in an attempt to escape, police said.
The suspect led police on another short pursuit, but was quickly arrested.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies later located the third suspect, who allegedly led them on yet another pursuit. The suspect was ultimately arrested on the 3900 block of Shedd Terrace in Culver City.
Beverly Hills police have identified the three individuals as Semaj Lopez, 24; Michael Smith, 19; and Daiyaan Henderson, 21.
Lopez and Smith were booked on suspicion of robbery, while Henderson was booked on suspicion of felony evading and seven felony warrants, police said.
