San Dimas Woman Accused of Stabbing Wife to Death with Sword

A Los Angeles County woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her wife to death with a sword.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies arrested Weichien Huang, 44, as the primary suspect in the murder of Chen Chen Fei, 47, on the afternoon of Thursday, July 18.

Deputies had responded to the 300 block of South Huntington Avenue in San Dimas that afternoon to investigate reports of a stabbing death. The victim, later identified as Fei, was pronounced deceased at the scene, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators reportedly believe that Fei and Huang had gotten into an argument and that, at some point, Huang attacked Fei with a sword.

Huang also allegedly attacked Fei’s mother, who sustained severe injuries but was able to escape the home and call for help. She remained in stable condition at an area hospital as of this weekend, according to authorities.

Huang was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
