Mountain View police recently arrested an individual for alleged indecent exposure.

According to a press release by the department, officers responded just after noon on July 28 to a report of indecent exposure at the Mountain View Public Library on Franklin Street.

Upon arrival, officers determined that an adult male suspect had approached a female victim, purportedly to ask her a question. When the victim looked toward the suspect, she observed that he was exposing himself and masturbating.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Detectives soon identified the suspect as Max Davidson.

On the afternoon of July 30, a Mountain View Police Department officer conducting patrol checks located Davidson inside the Mountain View Public Library and took him into custody.

Davidson was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure and failure to register as a sex offender.

The Mountain View Police Department is seeking additional victims related to the incident.

Anyone with information relevant to the case is encouraged to reach out to Sergeant Matthew Hom at matthew.hom@mountainview.gov or 650-903-6344.
