“Earlier this evening, CHPD Detectives arrested 35 year-old Miguel Aragon Torres for the violation of a restraining order protecting a 15 year-old minor female in Citrus Heights. Torres has been previously charged with the sexual assault of the minor in Kern County, CA and is currently in court facing charges.
Detectives intercepted Torres and took him into custody while he attempted to pick up the minor and is believed to have been planning to flee with her to Mexico. Torres was scheduled to be back in court tomorrow in Kern County for the pending charges. We’ll help make sure he makes it back to court on time.”
