“Yesterday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Central Division POP (Problem Oriented Policing) Team, with the assistance of the Sacramento County Probation Department, conducted a localized operation in the South Sacramento area. During the operation, officers conducted probation searches contacting subjects on probation with prior violent or gun charges, to ensure they were in compliance with their probation terms.

During this operation, Deputies and Probation Officers contacted 21-year-old Anthony Burks. A search of his residence yielded a shotgun illegally possessed by a convicted felon, various types of ammunition, and $6,000 in cash. Two other probationers with felony and misdemeanor no bail warrants were also contacted and taken into custody.

Per California law, none of their mugshots can be released.”
