Three individuals were arrested for alleged narcotics and illegal weapons sales following a law enforcement task force search in Shasta County.
Detectives with the Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force and the Sheriff’s Office AB109 compliance team reportedly carried out a search warrant at a home on the 14000 block of Bradley Ridge Rd. in Igo.
According to a department media release, authorities detained three individuals, identified as Liam McPike, 27; Chance Cole, 27; and Connor Keesler, 24. All three lived at the home.
A fourth individual was also detained but later determined not to be a person of interest in the investigation, authorities said.
During the search, investigators reportedly seized an AK-47 style rifle, an AR-15 style rifle, two handguns, and high-capacity magazines. Investigators reportedly also discovered an indoor cannabis cultivation operation, and confiscated about a pound of psilocybin mushrooms.
All three firearms are classified as assault weapons and are illegal to possess, authorities said.
Authorities reportedly suspect McPike, Cole, and Keesler of active drug sales as well as attempting to sell illegal assault weapons. All three were arrested and booked at the Shasta County jail on suspicion of possession of assault weapons, possession of controlled substances for the purpose of sales, cultivation of cannabis, and possession of high-capacity magazines.
McPike reportedly faces additional charges for being a prohibited person in possession of firearms and ammunition due to a prior conviction out of Sacramento County.
Keesler faces an additional charge of obstruction for allegedly refusing to identify himself at the scene, authorities said.
All three reportedly remain in custody with bail set at $50,000 each.
